“Here’s a little secret that every girl knows.”
Last night, the women of SNL came together to deliver a powerful message to men about sexual harassment — in the form of a bubblegum-pop music video called "Welcome to Hell." IT'S A MUST-WATCH:
"Hey there, boys," Cecily Strong says at the top of the video. "We know these last few months have been frickin' insane."
NBC
"The cat's out of the bag," Kate McKinnon adds. "Women get harassed all the time!"
NBC
And the cast has a message for any man asking "Dang, is this the world now?"
"Oh, this BEEN the damn world."
NBC
The video then welcomes men to the "hell" that women have been living in their entire lives.
"Welcome to hell. Now we're all in here!" they sing.
NBC
The song also addresses those who are currently mourning the loss of House of Cards since the allegations against Kevin Spacey came to light.
NBC
"House of Cards is ruined, and that really sucks," host Saoirse Ronan sings. "Well here's a list of stuff that's been ruined for us." The list includes walking, ponytails, and nighttime.
NBC
The video also features a cameo from Leslie Jones, reminding the cast that these issues are "a million times worse for a woman of color."
NBC
"Yeah it ain't fair. But pull up a chair. Welcome to hell."
NBC
Again, the video is a must-watch. So watch it:
